Google Ads | Digital Marketing Specialist Intern (In-Person & Remote Available)

Internship Title: Digital Marketing Specialist 

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Beginner internship 150 hrs or more (11-15hrs a week) or Advanced internship 270 hrs (20 hrs a week)
  • Education: College Student (Marketing, Communications, Business or Sales Majors)
  • Experience: No prior experience in marketing is required but having taken marketing classes is preferred. Bonus if you have any marketing certifications.

Pay:

  • $400 (150hrs) or $599 (270hrs) Base Stipend, for the semester.

This position is designed for BYU-I students needing a beginner 150hr or 270hr advanced level internship. Local Web Marketing System, a small dynamic and innovative marketing company specializing in the home services industry, is looking for a talented and motivated Digital Marketing Specialist Intern to join our team. This role offers a flexible work arrangement with the opportunity to work both remotely and in-person.

This role is highly dynamic, so while the time spent on each task may vary, we guarantee exposure to and work across all areas. Key traits and skills required for success in this position include:

  • Heart of a Learner: A genuine passion for learning, growing, and constantly improving.
  • Ability to Follow Instructions: Committed to executing tasks with precision and adhering closely to our guidelines.
  • Attention to Detail: Carefully reviews work to ensure it meets our high standards, double-checking work against our standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain and Improve SOPs: Take ownership in upholding, refining, and optimizing our standard operating procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Creativity in Writing Ads: Ability to craft compelling, creative, and effective advertisements.
  • Curiosity and Critical Thinking: Comfortable asking questions, probing for understanding, and constantly seeking ways to improve processes.
  • Data Analysis – Desire to make meaning out of data and numbers for improved performance. 
  • Effective Communication: Proactively communicates needs, alerts the team immediately to any major roadblocks, and uses creativity to work around challenges as they arise.

B2B Sales Specialist Intern (In-Person & Remote Available)

This position is designed for BYU-I students needing a beginner 150hr or 270hr advanced level internship. Local Web Marketing System offers a variety of digital marketing, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Search Engine Optimization, Web Design, Etc. We are now looking for a part-time sales representative who can reach out to and set appointments with potential customers either to our monthly webinars or a sales appointment, helping us grow our client base. 

This is a very hands-on SDR position. Learn sales A to Z for a digital marketing company. During your time here, you will get to work with and be taught by team members with over ten years of combined sales experience. You will get to hone your prospecting skills as you are trained to identify and reach out to businesses who could benefit from our company’s services. Your commission will be based on the success of your efforts as you get potential clients to meet with us or join one of our webinars.  

Job Responsibilities Breakdown:

  • Learn Company & Industry 10%
  • Creating Resources 10-20%
  • Prospecting 20-30%
  • Cold Outreach 15-25%
  • Warm Outreach 5-10%
  • Closing 5-15%

Pay:

  • $400 (150hrs) or $599 (270hrs) Base Stipend, for the semester.
  • $20 for each prospect that joins one of our webinars.
  • $50 for each appointment set that meets with us one on one. 
  • $200 for each prospect that becomes a client.
  • Uncapped commission.
